Who Was President Manuel L. Quezon?

Born on August 19, 1878, in Baler, Aurora (then part of Tayabas, now Quezon Province), Manuel Luis Quezon y Molina was a Filipino statesman, soldier, and politician who played a vital role in the nation’s journey to independence. His visionary leadership and advocacy for national identity laid the groundwork for modern Philippine governance.

President Manuel L. Quezon served as the first President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines from 1935 to 1944.
